The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution issued a decision to detain Mubarak Al-Baghili for 15 days pending an investigation on charges of insulting Egypt, against the background of tweets in which he launched an abuse campaign against Egypt - according to informed sources.
The Public Prosecution in Kuwait had summoned two days ago, Mubarak Al-Baghili, on charges of using his personal account on social networking sites to offend the Egyptian state, that he used his account through the short blogging site "Twitter" to broadcast baseless lies and health and abuse of good relations between the peoples of the two countries.

The lawsuit brought against him by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the accusation of insulting Egypt, using the name of Kuwait through his Twitter account and selling it in exchange for a monthly sum of money received by two persons who manage the account, are of Palestinian nationality, one resides in Qatar and the other in Jordan.
Sameh Shoukry, the Foreign Minister, received on Friday a phone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, on Thursday, as the two sides touched on the details of the brotherly historical relations between the two countries - according to an official statement issued by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry.
